That is of course, unless the wine is from the Santa Barbara winery. I haven't been disappointed yet. This place has a great wine tasting flight with 3 different options, all whites, all reds, or a mixed selection. No matter which one you pick, you won't be disappointed with the varietals. You get 5 wine flavors in each flight and... More

I'm a Chardonnay pig. And I also enjoy soft, mellow reds that don't bite back. What I don't like are Riesilings and Viogniers. Both are usually way to sweet or funky. But the server at our tasting, while saying he understood my concern, insisted I would find theirs quite different. I said I doubt it but I'll give them a... More

We each had the mixed flight, with two whites and three reds-$12 each on Sunday. Not large amounts but knowledge servers and when I saw they had a Grenache she added that. All good wines. Cute shop with unique items for wine lovers. You get the glass with their name on it.

Nice tasting room, but unimpressed with the wines. Tasted the Santa Rita Hills p noir, Grenache Lafond vineyard (eh, not big or interesting enough), Syrah, Cab Sav and P Sirahs were "blah". Kunin down the street was better.

Our first stop on our wine tasting trail. The wines were just average and overpriced for the quality. Wine host wasn't that engaged nor that friendly. We have been to many wine tastings and winerys and this was below par. Many other wineries that were better.

This was great find, wines are very reasonably priced. The decor in tasting room is nice, great selection of whites and reds..

I came here with 2 girlfriends. We dropped in, no appointment made. They offer 3 different "flights" which is a tasting of different wines they offer. We waited quit some time to be served while the bartenders chatted both amungst themselves and other visitors. Just as we were about to leave someone served us. There was very minimal explanation or... More

Relaxed service, casual tasting room, chunky cat...what's not to like? The mixed tasting menu has a nice selection of whites and reds

I'm not really a wine drinker and neither is my husband so this visit to Sta. Barbara Winery, which was arranged by my hubby's cousin, was really just for the experience. This was our first visit to a winery. We got there around mid-afternoon and found the place not too crowded. The bartendress made some recommendations and we tried at... More

A girlfriend and I stopped in to the Winery during a weekend away. Having just come from a tasting room across the street where we were disappointed with the snobby, stick in the fanny attitude of the 2 ladies doing the pours, we were delighted to have Bill guide us through the tastings at Santa Barbara Winery! Bill is knowledgable,... More
