Scenic drive that gives all the flavours of Santa Barbara

Spent an hour driving the route to the see the many different facets of Santa Barbara - from the seafront to the lower hills. What a great place to live.

Very lovely windy road, go through the ranch, you'll probably see someone riding their horse along the road. Beautiful houses, big park, and stunning trees lining the streets

We stumbled upon this Scenic drive after visiting the mission. It is a great way to experience the beautiful views from the mountainside homes.

My wife and I had read a number of positive reviews of this self-guided tour so stopped by the Tourist Office to pick up directions. As ususal, she was the navigator, and except for one confusing turn near the end, we managed to stay on course! It was wll worth the effort, and along the way we were led to... More

On our way from Pismo Beach to Santa Barbara we headed for Solvang, a lovely little Danish town, then onto the 154 which takes you to Santa Barbara. The drive is through the wine country and hills, much better than taking the 101

Worth the drive if you have some time, don't forget to go slow so you can really take it all in. It's worth it.

Santa Barbara has a couple beautiful buildings, but mostly it is just another average town. If you are a tourist, visit the courthouse and maybe down at the ocean...and then you have pretty much seen SB.

So much beauty and history in all the buildings. Beauty everywhere and much peace too. It is so pleasant to drive in Santa Barbara!
