Interesting local Museum

This museum was interesting. It took less than two hours to go through, but the exhibits were and intresting combination of art and photography.

This local museum at Santa Clara displayed art from one or two artists when I visited...some sculptures can also be found round the front and back of the building..

On through May 29th at the Triton Museum, the 2016 Statewide 2D Competition and Exhibition contains many masterfully rendered and technically tough to execute pieces. Prize photographs squeeze the air out of architecturally engineered environments. Beautifully rendered, bloodless art fills this show. It's hardly representative of our regional art. This cool take on art from a joyfully irreverent, rambunctious state... More

Santa Clara is the host city for Super Bowl 50. The Triton Art Museum in Santa Clara hosted the free event Gridiron Glory: The Best of the Pro Football Hall of Fame exhibit. We had so much fun seeing the various historical football jerseys of players. We saw the Super Bowl trophy. There was exhibits on the history of the... More

It has been a year since my last visit. However, I go here whenever there is an exhibit I am interesting in viewing. This museum has never been crowded when I have gone, and I recommend it on this basis.

The building is gorgeous -- designed by a San Francisco architect (the staff person wasn't sure who). In back is a park and some sculpture. I'll post photos. The museum is celebrating its 50th anniversary. (The building is newer.) The main exhibition was "50 artists to watch." Art was from regional artists; much of it wasn't the same class as... More

This is a small museum but I did find three interesting exhibitions which I enjoyed very much. One of them is with work of Charles Eckart which will be on view until the 19th April. The entree is free but you can leaf some money in the box. I did spend almost two hours there.

This place must have a pile of money in a trust because it is beautiful: the site, the building, the art, the shows, the programs, all are beautiful. The docents are very kind to children. The sculpture garden is located a 200 feet from a playground. Pack a lunch for the family and then head over this place any day... More
