This historic lighthouse, rebuilt in the 1960s, is a great place from which to check out the local surfing culture.

Loved the lighthouse. Has some great old photos of surfers that I really liked. I purchased two of the VW bug cars with the surfboards on top. Really cute.

The Lighthouse wasn't as big as I expected, and you can't go up inside it. A surfing museum is inside, but it was closed on the day we were there. The point is a very nice, comfortable area to walk around, good walkways, good parking...More

Being a Lighthouse nut, I found this one interesting, but it is not one of the historic lighthouses. It has a really interesting use in that it is a Surfing Museum. Small Museum but lots of history about surfing in the area.

A nice stop on the West Cliff circuit. Even the kids enjoyed looking at the old surf memorabilia. We took some great pictures and then spent some time watching all the surfers below.
