I’m always a little disappointed at this beach. It’s convenient because it’s right outside the boardwalk, but it’s always littered with cigarette butts and trash even though there are garbage cans every 50 feet or so. It’s very busy, and can sometimes be rowdy at...More

Nice shore to stroll. Chilly waters. Just love the fact that there's the Beach boardwalk. Not at all packed in winter, Boardwalk's rides are closed though during the weekdays.

Located along the ocean in front of the Beach Boardwalk attraction, parking is expensive and crowds spill over from the Boardwalk. Good point is that there are plenty of food options with free entry to the Boardwalk, which is unmatched by any other county beach....More

The beach located next to the boardwalk and is a clean, comfortable beach. While the water is always cold, the beach is inviting.

Our boys loved jumping in the Pacific Ocean - but boy was it cold! The beach is big, sandy and reasonably clean, although lots of seaweed has washed up on one side of the warf. There are manned lifeguard towers about every 200m and we...More

Parking is reasonable at $10/day. It's very busy no matter the day, so be prepared. Cool shopping with unique gift items. On Mon and Tuesday board walk rides and food are cheap! Rides are fun. Waves are ok, but cold water usually, so be prepared.

I live right above the boardwalk and usually take a blanket down in the morning and set up on the sand right outside of the limit ropes as do many locals or you can wait until 4:30 and go into the concert area to set up... More
