I had visited when i was 8, and came back at 21. When in the house i got such a bad headache and felt nauseous. Right when i stepped out i was fine. Its nice to see what the earth has hidden from us. Recommend!

Considering that the location is off the road, I would suggest a Taxi. It is also a few minutes outside of Santa Cruz.
