We visited Santa Cruz for a quick getaway and really enjoyed the wharf. It is not really a shopping place, but there were lots of places to sit and enjoy the water and sea life. Attached is our dinner view!

I drank a fishbowl, ate great food, admired seals and became an expert first time kayaker! We had an amazing time, kayaking was by far the best part, a must do! Don’t miss it!!!

Just south of San Luis Obisbo (Central Coast) off highway 101. A 3 hour drive south from Santa Cruz Wharf. Pismo Clams are big & famous. Certain times of the year people dig for them and have parties with clam chowder & such... More

I didn't see anything that big parked on the wharf. There is a lot of parking by the amusement park on the boardwalk, so I would try there. If you are staying in the rv, sea cliff state beach has rv spots right on the ocean... More
