Great walking along scenic beach below

Watch surfers, bikinis, dogs being walked, kids pushed in strollers, Up about 30 ft from the ocean. Separate path for bikers vs pedestrians.

Very nice beach, especially if you want to work out first at Pleasure Point Pilates and take a mat class there. The only problem with the beach is, it's always run with dogs off the leash. So, beware if you don't care for dogs on the loose.

Pleasure Point is beautiful at any time of day, but at sunrise, it provides a perfect place to view the sunrise. It was worth getting up!

My husband and I came here when visiting family. They live in nearby Soquel. This is an awesome little town square! It's a classic surf town where everything is bright and energetic, and you feel like you could stay there forever. There are great walking and biking paths, cute little shops, and gorgeous vistas of the Pacific and the coastline.... More

The beach is the greatest. You can swim or just watch to marine life. I have played with otters and also have seen dolphins and other sea life. The Pleasure Point area also has a mall and numerous restaurants.

I love this part of SC. It's fun to watch the surfers, and when the Golden Poppies are in bloom, the views are especially sublime. You can walk here from Capitola. It's easy and worth the time.

This is locals only spot. If you're not local, stay clear of their waves. Only complaint is that locals are mean to travelers who decide to rent a board and suit up the street. As soon as they recognize you're not form around SC...they cut you off. My friend visits with her two daughters who are terrific young surfers and... More

If you want to say you've been to a typical California surfing beach, this is the place. It's a great place to watch the surfers, sip coffee and take photos, It's also a wonderful spot to take a walk anytime of the day. Bring your camera. Watch the sun rise and set. Take your dog along. It's beautiful and romantic.... More
