Not commercial (which is nice)

Good wine and knowledgeable staff. Small tasting room that's not so commercial. They offered a good by the case special which we bought.

We were viewing wildflowers and I decided to pull into this rather unpretentious winery. We were the only car there, at the time, and I tasted while my husband wandered outside. (He's not a wine buff like I am.) The tasting room has lots of other merchandise, which I would have normally browsed, but we had a ways to travel.... More

tucked off the Foxen trail,Tres Hermanas winery is unassuming but they make up for it by inventive blends. It is a welcome change and worth stopping by in a land dominated by pinots.

My wife is the wine lover and I'm a beer guy. With that being said, Tres Hermanas was on our list of local wineries to visit. Once my wife was done tasting and picked up a case for home, the owner gave a tour of their facilities---a converted barn for parties etc; an outside "park" for weddings etc.---just real friendly... We visited a few years ago and my wife really loved the 2003 Syrah. So this year we stopped by to pick up a case of the 2005 which was on sale for $60 a case. What a great price. The 2003 had more of a leather taste that some people may not appreciate but my wife sure does. The... More

We bought two cases of wine after a wine tasting. Once home the '06 Syrah had chunks of sediment in the bottle and tasted like it was going bad. The Syrah tasted cheaper than two buck chuck. On another bottle we opened, in opening the bottle, the neck of the bottle shattered where the cork was sitting. Again another first... More

Welcoming and friendly family run winery. Paulette poured a cuvee Haileigh (Reisling/Gewurtz blend) with a great nose and flavor profile at $14 per bottle. The 2008 Barbera was another excellent offering a bright wine with cherry, tobacco, dry leaves, and a hint of smoke on the finish. I was not a fan of the Syrah offerings. Bought bottles of the...
