"Peanuts" devotees won't be disappointed in the museum that memorializes the work of cartoonist Charles M. Schulz, who made Santa Rosa his adopted hometown.

The museum features an early mural of Charlie Brown and Snoopy, a wood relief sculpture of Snoopy showing the changes in the famed cartoon dog's appearance over the years and Schulz's actual work studio.

If you like the Peanuts gang, Charlie, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus, etc., this is a must see. Beautiful 3 story mural welcomes you with the iconic picture of Charlie Brown trying to kick the football Lucy is holding. Be sure to take a closer look at how is was created! Dozens of original strips from all the decades the cartoon was... More

It is a very interesting layout. Not very large but very interesting background on Schulz. Be sure to visit the cafe and his reserved table. This is also a good place to watch people on the ice. Nice gift shop too nextdoor.

This really is a great way to start out your day - fantastic layout of Charles M. Shultz history and overall a feel good walkthrough. Pro Tip: Visit the ice rink and gift shop across the street before you leave. (no charge to get in)

We loved the museum, ice rink and gift store. A real pleasure for Peanuts' lovers. You can spend an hour or much longer depending on your schedule. Loved the films in the auditorium especially the interview of Charles Schulz with Charlie Rose.

During this winter at a San Francisco Tourism Office, my 7 years old son found a brochure of this museum. He is a fan of Charlie Brown and we headed to the museum the next day. The volunteers at the museum has full knowledge of Mr. Schultz contributions to the community and the history of his development with the Peanuts... More

We were visiting the Russian River Valley and decided to take a break from tasting wine. The Charles M Schulz museum is easy to locate. There is no issue with parking in the ample lot. The volunteers are very friendly. This is a nice, small, museum. It is a good size for the family and young children to walk through... More

I've always enjoyed the comic strips and cartoons so when I got to go to this museum, helped me to appreciate why we all love Peanuts. There's an artist lab on the 3rd floor where I made an origami Snoopy Dog house. It's one of my prized possessions.
