Our family gathered here for a wine tasting and picnic to celebrate Sue's birthday. Beautiful views from the deck and generous pours from the staff. We bought several bottles to enjoy with our picnic and to take home. The 2008 Zin is amazing!

This winery has a beautiful view and some fantastic wine. On the day we went the airshow in Santa Rosa was going on and we watched as we sipped our wine. You can bring your lunch and eat on the deck overlooking the beautiful vineyards. The people there are so much fun to talk to and have a wealth of... More

We went here on a Thursday afternoon and had the place to ourselves for a few minutes. Very good Pinot Noirs, and that's what we were after. Very accommodating tasting room letting us try whatever we wanted. We tried six Pinots all were good and a couple exceptional. We also tried a Carignane that was also very good. We didn't... More

Winner of Pigs & Pinot (and my heart as well). Need I say more?!!! Woodenhead offers a diverse assortment of wines (not just Pinot). Outstanding Zins and one of my favorite sparklings. Zina and Erin and the gals are always so nice and welcoming, it's like coming to drink wine with old friends. You never get any bad service or... More

We enjoyed our time at Woodenhead. Staff was great. Good pinots. Wiley pinot was expensive but excellent. French Columbard was also very good.

Friendly staff, good view. The nicest thing about this tasting room is they don't allow large tours, buses or limos. It's nice to get away from the crowds. We didn't care for the wines but not because they were bad, just didn't appeal to us.

The staff here was superb! Great times with great wines. Was our first stop in Sonoma and our most favorite! We bought a case and will definitely be coming back.

We received a recommendation to stop here from a friend, and he gave us great advice! The wine was really great (we love Pinot Noir), and the people were very friendly and informative. It's definitely a smaller place with a different feel from some other places, but we really enjoyed ourselves.
