If you like wine, or even other alcoholic beverages this is a great side of downtown Santa Rosa. It's near the train station, and sometimes local businesses will give you a free train pass for supporting their business. It's got a lot of antique stores...More

OK, it has a lot of thrift shops, but Railroad Square is a swell part of Santa Rosa. Interesting shopkeepers, some good deals at the stores, plus interesting hotel and restaurants.

I love areas that have been rehabbed but keep their historic feel. Railroad Square District is just that; plus lots of good spots to eat!

Lots of thrift type stores. You will find a good selection in them. Lots of tourist here who make coming here a priority on their visits. Good variety of restaurants. All of the people working in the shops are friendly and helpful.

Very charming downtown area, some great shots especially for breakfast and happy hour. But the area is full of homeless people and they are very aggressive.

This area of town has a lot to offer. We go for the antique shops and thrift shops. There are restaurants and bars for every price range. You should take a look.

Cool area that offers a little of everything: restaurants, beauty salons, art galleries, clothing stores, furniture, jewelry, coffee shops, hotel and nightclub. Highlights: La Gare (French restaurant, one of my top 5 in all of Sonoma Co.), Jackson's (trendy, lively spot with great happy hour),...More

Nice shops and restaurants but, there is a HUGE homeless population roaming the area, and hundreds of people living under the freeway bridges that the city just ignores. Afraid to park my car near here. This, I cannot get used to without affecting the experience...More
