I have been here numerous times since 1980: for many concerts, for dinner, for hiking. Parking is fine except on concert nights.

This was in the smaller Carriage Hose venue. It was amazing - like a live PBS special about George & Ira Gershwin with old photos/videos, anecdotes piano and two singers!! WONDERFUL!!

The Montalvo Arts Center is located in a typical sentries century estate. One can tour the house and grounds. The outdoor venue is wonderful.

The mansion is sometimes open for tours; the gardens are beautiful all year round. The outdoor Fontaine Theater (yes, THAT Fontaine family) presents live performances, mostly music. There is a second theater on the grounds indoor for a smaller venue. Music & theater!

The Art Center is so much more than a performance venue. Simply walking the grounds after dinner is beautiful.
