Nestled in the rolling hills of western Sonoma County, the Russian River/Green Valley appellation is a perfect microclimate for growing Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Only 10 miles from the Pacific Ocean and 50 miles north of San Francisco, the site is influenced by the sea's cooling breezes and drifting fog. That is why Marimar Torres selected this privileged location to "export" the Torres family legacy of fine wines to California.Tasting Room open 7 days a week from 11-4.

If you're looking for a boutique winery with a very personalized host/hostess, attention to detail hospitality, pouring fantastic wines, then look no further and visit Marimar Estate. I was hosted by Lauren who was incredibly knowledgeable, professional and very friendly. Her charming and warm hospitality truly complimented the beautiful wines. If you are a Chardonnay and Pinot Oenophile, then you... More

We had heard fabulous things about this winery and its bounty, and finally got to try it for ourselves! Heavenly! Unique Spanish-style wines, with some aged in steel barrels. We did the generous tapas tasting and next time, will do a tour of the large property. The staff was so friendly and welcoming that we felt relaxed from the moment... More

Marimar has the best wine and food paring in the area. The wines are amazing and can satisfy my husbands and my differences in our wine preference .

This was my first stop on a 3 day tour and one of the best. We were hosted by an incredibly welcoming and easy to talk to gentleman (so sorry, I can't remember his name), who showed us a range of fabulous wines and was the most welcoming of all the wineries we visited. If you are in the area... More

Love this winery. The Pinot is amazing and they have some lovely Chardonnays. The winery sits high on the hill with a beautiful tasting room. They believe in organic farming so their grapes are all organic. They offer Tapas and have several functions. They are also dog friendly. Can't say enough about the wine. I can't get out of there... Had stopped in here about a year ago, an looked attractive, figured we would have to come back some time an do the tasting n tapas, so we did, yesterday. A grand time, tapas were superb, wines quite good, and staff was fun and helpful. We had been to their venue in Santiago, Chile and enjoyed it tremendously, and this... More

We had been by Marimar for a tasting a few years ago and liked it a lot. We were in the area again, and with an invitation in hand for the "Tapas & Wine Pairing Experience" we went back and were mighty glad we did. Tasting Room Manager Lane Westbrook met us, talked about the history of the place, then... More

My husband and I fell in love with this vineyard and its Cristina Pinot years ago and we were really looking forward to returning this November. Unfortunately we were very disappointed in their tapas wine pairing. They advertised that you would be tasting the Cristina but that wasn't the case ... in fact the girl serving us had never even... Not only do they make outstanding wine, they do it in a biodynamic, sustainable fashion. Try the tapas tasting!

Several years ago my husband and I realized that the behemoths of Napa were not for us, so we set out to explore the small wineries of Sonoma and the Russian River Valley -- we've never looked back! In 2010, on the enthusiastic recommendation of friends, we went to Marimar Estate near Sebastopol for the tapas and wine pairing and... More
