Pinot heaven

Best pinot in the area. Tim is fun, and knows the wines. The venue is peaceful and lovely. Try the Doctors Syrah, and San Saba pinot, they won't disappoint you!

we were referred to this winery by another local winery, specifically for their pinot noir. We chose to "design our own wine flight", five tastes for $20, so we chose a couple from each of the three categories of wines. Loved most of the wines, had a nice discussion with the staff, and spent a restful time sitting by their... More

Even though it was Harvest time for 2015 Chardonnay Grapes, Chris Whaley arranged for us to have a Fantastic Tour of the San Saba VineYard Estate in the San Lucia HighLands & Salinas Valley, just a few miles from Monterey Bay . * This Area is now recognized as one of the finest Wine Regions in California for Pinot Noir... Wrath is recommended by other wineries pretty consistently. Other wineries recommendations are always a good sign. The building is modern and nicely decorated and the outside patio garden area is very pleasant. Some good wines, in particular their pinots. If you like something buy it. The wines are low volume productions and only available at the tastings rooms.

Beautiful tasting room. Great picture opportunities with the pond in background. And the wine is great too! Employees were very knowledgeable about their product and surrounding area.

Nestled between some of the Santa Lucia Highlands more famous wineries. Good Pinot Noir. Great grounds. Oddly enough they don't grow enough grapes to have a wine club, but do have some good selections and we bought several bottles for the road. Tasting is $20 or waived if you buy two bottles of wine. Prices $30 - $40.

This time I just came to say thank you to the amazing and beautiful hostess here and yes she was still here. Great service and great wines again, I had also the cheese pairing plate just like first time and I enjoyed it. I will hope to come back and taste the great wines here and hopefully see the hostess... More

Enjoyed the Muscat Blanc and Pinot Noir the most. Smaller winery with limited production. Not a fancy tasting room but worth the stop.
