The course was in great shape for there being a drought in CA still. It's must play. Food was great after the turn.

My husband and I scheduled our tee time for 2:30 PM, which was a discounted rate. The weather was extremely warm out, the snack bar at the 9th hole was closed. So we only played the first 9. The course was well-maintained and a little green even during the drought season.

Played golf with a couple of friends except for work on hole 15 the course is in good shape but....not only do carts lack gps they lack a cooler so place to carry cold water or ice. What makes this worse is that the three water stations were on 11, 15 and 18 and the snack shack at the turn... More

Very fair course. Doing a great job surviving the drought. Fairways and greens are in good shape. Lots of brown rough. Discounted green fees available online. Would definitely play it again when in Solvang.

This 18 hole course is characterized by pretty scenery, mostly wide fairways and good greens. The par 3 holes are the most memorable .. beautiful and very playable. There are some long par 4s and narrow fairways on the back nine but after playing the really pretty 9th hole and stopping at the half-way cafe you should be ready for... More

We had a fabulous brunch here on a Sunday morning in June. We sat outside on the porch and enjoyed the beautiful summer ambiance. As long as we were under the shade of the umbrella, it was fine - otherwise it was a little too hot and bright. The service could have been better - long periods went by without... More

Great river side golf. Woodland, SoCal style. Can be hot in the summer, so play in the morning. There are a few holes where you can bomb away, and others, shorter, when it's important to be accurate. Great greens. I manage a few pars each time I play, and there always seems to be an 'other' on my card, too.

Many fairways were bare and/or hardpan. There has been a long-standing drought, but irrigation system was used during the two days we played there. Drinks and snacks in restaurant are overpriced.

Very accommodating and helpful staff. Course is good for all levels as the tee boxes are well placed. Drought is having an impact but the staff is doing great at water management.
