This ranch was the first place we visited as part of a guided Wine Tour in Napa/Sonoma Valley and I can not stress how fabulous it was. The winemakers were extremely knowledgeable and excited to share their story (and wine) with the world. By far...More

THIS PLACE WAS FANTASTIC! Our guide Debbie took us through the Vinyard and taught me more about the grape growing process than I could imagine. Very smart woman I highly recommend this vinyard!!!

Solid wines, nice cave tour, friendly staff and great grounds. A worthwhile stop. Plan to spend at least 1-1.5 hours here due to the length of the tour!

When we arrived we were the only people here, (early in the morning) we were met by a happy member of the winery staff named "Beard". He provided samples of his Chardonnay and Pinot Noir which were excellent. But he went over and above by...More

The scenery at this vineyard is PERFECT. It was a dream!! I could of spent the whole day just sitting there and taking it in. They are known for their chardonnay which I am not a huge fan of, but still enjoyed my visit here....More

I used to come here a few times per year to wine taste then buy bottle of wine to drink while picnicking at their tables. This time the manager said they will no longer sell you a bottle of wine. You have to pay 40...More

I wish we had more time at this hidden gem! From the moment we got there we knew it was going to be great wine. It was a smaller winery than most in the region but was honestly the best out of the three we...More

Hi Kris: My sister and I are going to be in this area and we are definitely going to Domaine Carneros, but we are looking for another winery to visit. We are coming in on a cruise so our time is a little limited. We have been looking at different wineries and most require a reservation, but with our time limitations we really don't want to try and make a reservation we might not be able to keep. We are renting a car in San Francisco and driving out to Napa and Sonoma. When I read your review it sounded like this was a spur of the moment visit. I have been looking at their website and it looks like they require reservations. After a long paragraph, (sorry) did you need reservations for the wine tasting? Thanks so much for your input.
