Been visiting for over 50 years. The detour from Highway 101 has always been a diversion on our trip to the Redwoods. The free samples have always been a treat. The bakery and nearby wineries have made the detour very important. Park near the town...More

Couldn't get over how affordable the prices were for some truly fantastic cheese made onsite. Very friendly and patient staff. Will definitely return again with friends!

You can try a sample of whatever you like. The tricky part is everything is so delicious... you want to buy everything! They are really friendly and have great customer service. They also have olive oils you can try too! Great spot!

Hard place to find as its in a neighborhood, but its worth finding. They will let you try any of the cheeses they have and the ones that they make right there on site. All in all we left with about 40 worth of cheeses.

After biking to and visiting several great wineries, our tour passed by The Vella Cheese Company. Everyone there was very friendly, and the samples were delicious. Nice way to cap off the day

I've used their cheese for a variety of salads, pastas and hors d' ouevres and have never been disappointed. It's a cheese unique to the world and from Sonoma.
