Tremendous views of mostly Emerald Bay and it's surroundings, but also of parts of the lake. Definitely plan on using your camera and getting many great shots. A panoramic shot here would be highly recommended. The only negative is the fairly limited parking. I have...More

I was here the first week of May. It is somewhat crowded in the mid-afternoon. However, the views are completely amazing. This has to be one of the most beautiful places on the planet.

The spot is very scenic and tends to attract a lot crowd. It was raining when we got there hence it wasn't crowded but the parking is limited!

great place for hiking at a moderate level and offers some great views on the various trails.not to far from Tahoe city which also offers some great food after a hike.

We couldn't find parking anywhere, in fact, got stuck in the parking lot 'circle.' We won't even enter the parking lot next time. Seemed sort of dangerous parking on the highway though.
