I think my title says it all! As others have said it does get crowded but it was not unmanageable when we were there (parked across the street). We stayed about 10 minutes taking pictures. Easy drive to get there and well worth the time.

It is absolutely gorgeous here. I would make a point to drive there if you are in the South Lake Tahoe area. Many of the scenic beaches and stops are closed right now due to the winter season, but this has different viewing points that...More

Lake Tahoe have many nice view-points. Emerald bay including Inspiration Point Vista is one of the best nice view points. When I went there, we have to look for the parking point because of short of parking in spite of week day.

We first tried to stop on a Sunday afternoon by parking (even on the roadside) was impossible. Returned early the next morning, parking was easy and viewpoints were not crowded. Spectacular elevated view. If you have the time (and energy) hike down to the Vikingholm.

Inspiration Point Vista is a view point for a wide-angle, deep focus view of Lake Tahoe. It is well interpreted with many detailed didactic panels. Parking will be difficult, and there will be wait time to get those perfect photos.

Parking is tight, but worth it for the view. Very short walk to the lookout point. Great views. Absolutely gorgeous!
