This beach is huge and very doggy friendly! Made me miss my pooch which I left at home for this trip. There were people rock climbing, paying with their dogs, surfing, sun bathing, playing catch, having a picnic, exploring and so much more! Allow some time to park and walk around a bit there are lots of nooks to stake... More

I found this beach to be a bit disappointing. The scenery is breathtaking, the huge flat beach felt safe, the rock formations were interesting. But -- oh my the people here! The parking lot was jammed and there were cars circling around trying to find somebody leaving. I think this is a great beach for family fun days out, but... More

This beach is my all time favorite family beach. Perfect for small children. Small cove like beach With the mouth of the Little river running into the ocean, it is perfect for children to swim in warmer than ocean cold water. The ocean is one that you can walk into it and it does not get deep fast. During the... More

Bring your dog, your surfboard, your waders, and your sun tan lotion. Look for moonstones, hide in the caves, and practice rock-climbing. Nap, explore, picnic, swim. The best beach ever.

There's a river to wade across here as well as the charming and fun little beach. And if you time your visit to low tide, you can go into a small cave at this beach. Who knows? You might even find a moonstone! Some folks who are more adventurous like to climb the rocks which rise from the beach.

Went there since it was just down the road from our rental house. Our kids said it was a nice beach and have been there several times since they live up there. The parking was tight with broken glass and trash all over the parking lot. We didn't see too much since that day it was foggy. Didn't know you... More

We were here for a wedding and it served as a backdrop to the perfect spot. Awesome setting and big enough for many groups of beach goers too.

This was a nice spot typical of northern California beaches. The parking and access was good and it allowed for some wind breaks if needed. There's a nice restaurant at this beach with good views as well.

This is always one of favorite places to go when at coast house... there are tons of sand dollars here if right time of year & huge clam shells stay in tack if waves are not too hard.

You can't just walk straight out to beach at all places here due to a river being in the way but such a beautiful little place to paint and take pictures of the gorgeous sunsets
