This wonderful "exploratorium" for younger kids (best for ages 10 and under) is a wonderful place with themed, interactive exhibits that are continuously changing. The caring, artistic staff are enthusiastic and welcoming. A great family resource for visitors and locals alike.

Our kids love the place. We've been here many times, kids always find something new to do. There's areas they can independently play, areas to make friends and group play, areas for art, areas for science exploration, even an indoor playset to climb and slide....More

Went on a rainy Mother's Day weekend, lots of great art, science, lego, magna tiles, train table, airplane, kitchen, things indoor for the kids to really immerse themselves into. We weren't able to explore the outdoor garden, etc due to weather. Great price, great learning...More

A great place for the little ones to explore and let their creative juices flow! A nice change of pace on the way out of Tahoe.

Admission is $8 for everyone, which I felt was a bit pricey. It is small my daughter(age 4) was done after 2 hrs, we didn't do outdoor things due to rain. I felt it was a bit squished, seemed to clear out around 12:00 though....More

Checked for address on their website as we drove into Truckee. Not open after 1:30 in summer, according to the site. We have 2 disappointed preschoolers.

Hard to find because of all the construction in the area. The kids loved playing and climbing. Not too big. Hour and a half was plenty of time inside. Never made it outside but did not see to much out there.

The place is small, but packed with fun for the kids. We had a membership and got our money's worth. Hoping to get another membership soon.

Located near the high school this kids "museum" has lots of fun hands on things for young children. Has train table, magnets, large blocks. A wonderful rainy day activity.
