Some 1,500 species of watchable wildlife call this lush stretch of habitat along the Mojave River home, making it a magnet for bird-watchers, horseback riders and campers. The park’s two lakes not only attract migratory birds but also make it a popular fishing spot. You can bring your own mount or rent horses and ponies from the on-site stables.Mojave Narrows’ flat, open terrain includes pastures surrounded by cottonwood and willow trees. The park, located in the Victor Valley area, boasts lots of activities for visitors. Facilities include group and RV campsites ( some with lake views), a playground, waterpark, picnic shelters and hiking trails. A low ropes course is also planned.

My kids and I go here often in the summer to ride our horses. They have great stalls the water hoses are right next to the stalls.Plenty of room to turn around horse trailers and great camping amenities with your horses. There's also a splash park for the kids to cool off.

My wife and I will from time to time take a long morning walk through this park and remind ourselves what a great asset the High Desert has.Not many areas can brag about a great lake to fish, a place to ride horses or a great place top barbecue and enjoy friends.

The Narrows Park is excellent for doing some horse back riding, fishing, and rental boating. We went before it got too hot so our trip was very enjoyable!

Nice place, wife was at work and took my three little ones to horse back ride, ages 15, 12 and 10. Really had a blast, horse trainers are nice and cordial, but set rules. Nice place, seems like a remote wilderness park, although in the city still, just the outskirts. Good pricing, fair. Nice place, must pay admission to park,... More

The park has a $10 entrance fee per car, so you can get a lot of people in for a party in a few vehicles. Took my granddaughter to the water feature and it was nice for the hot day, but all of the sitting areas around it had hoards of swarming ants and we could not use the shade... More

I got my friends and family together for the weekend- we paid holiday prices for 8 sites and were having a great time. Unfortunately, the one site across from us (that says no tents allowed), decided to let all of their friends and families in after it closed. They set up 4-5 tents, had a huge spot light on top... This camp ground is very friendly for kids and grown ups. During the summer time they have a small water park for the kid. I enjoy it every time i go.
