I was excited to go back to LA to go to a friends birthday party at the infamous Abbey. I remember the first time coming to this establishment as a young gay man and I absolutely loved it. The atmosphere back then was just as pretentious as now, but it was truly a gay bar filled with gay people. It... More

This place is a must go. Don't worry about it being labeled a Gay club if your straight because EVERYONE is there having the time of their life. My Fiancé and I danced the night away. The food was better than most of the sit down restaurants ive been to. There is a bakery on site and the cookies are... More

We arrived during the Saturday brunch drag show and it was quite loud and crowded. Once we got a waiters attention, we received good service. The food was okay but not really worth the high prices.

One of my favorite places in LA. Try their Mojito...so amazing. Their burgers are pretty tasty and great brunch as well. The atmosphere is entertaining, great music...servers and bartenders are friendly. Highly recommended :)

This bar was super relaxed and friendly with a lot of hot guys around. Went with friends from New York and Canada and was welcomed in and had an absolute blast! Drinks aren't cheap but it's worth the fun

My friends and I loved it here. It's a great venue that has a number of areas so that in one venue you can feel as though you're in a club, a bar or a restaurant. The outside space is nice too. We went as we heard there was a girl night in the adjoining space the Chapel on Wednesday... More

We stopped in The Abbey on a rainy night after dinner at Pump and drinks at SUR. My friends who live in West Hollywood were showing us around. It was a fun spot! Men and women dancing on the bar are fantastic. The music was great! I'm so glad I got to experience being in the Abbey!

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
