This ski resort is small compared to Mammoth but is MUCH closer to LA and the High Desert. It has great slopes with wide berth, small jumps for the adventurous, black diamond runs and plenty of runs for mid-level skiers. The lodge has plenty of...More

We came right at the heart of ski season expecting it to be a huge crowd but, if you get there early, its actually pretty easy to get equipped and up the slopes in no time. We got there right as the ticket window opened...More

In the six days prior to my trip they got something like 7 feet of snow. Went on a Thursday. Fair price, small crowds, superb conditions. Got a ton of skiing in over nearly the whole day and still got home before dark.

Torture to plan group tubing event here. Poor customer service. Would not recommend. Best to just have snow play around the area. Not worth it !!

Love coming here when the snow is good. Its local and easy to get to! Sunday mornings when they open or during the week is fun. Super nice people, good runs, great vibe.

I don't think so but we are expecting rain this weekend. If you want lots of snow, I would make the drive to mammoth.
