There is a lot of different things to do here (which cost money). There is a few different restaurants, cafes books stalls and the farm. It is great but if you don't want to spend any money you wouldn't need very long here.

A nice , charming place. Visit on a Friday so it’s quiet and spacious for kids to roam. Noticed that there’s farmer market tomorrow and we will be going back. A quick drive from my holiday accommodation at South Yarra

No accommodation at the Convent. Aparthotel Quest Abbotsford has reasonable prices and is the closest, else it is not far from the central business district of Melbourne.
