Beautiful venue,, interesting architecture and shops. Good food. How cool would it be to live here? Pleasant grounds to just walk around and just enjoy nature.

Don't be deceived. Though just blocks from a residential neighborhood, the Flatirons is one of America's finest short hikes. Lovely alpine meadow with grand views of Boulder and the Great Plains beyond. A longer, challenging hike up the ladders and rocks of the stunning Flatirons...More

This is one of my favorite places. The view, the history, the great food and the fine people. I always eat outside and stare at the mountains, but you can eat inside. The history of the Chatauqua movement is very interesting.

Had to hit this park and do a hike on our visit to Boulder. You haven't really visited Boulder until you have visited the flat irons. Good views of the flatlands to the east and an up-close view of the foothills of the Rockies.

Bears are not a problem here. Mostly bear sightings would be generally harmless brown bears, not the dangerous grizzly bears, and brown bear sightings are rare. But mountain lions are in the vicinity, often spotted in... More
