It's something to do in Boulder. Free. Plus you get to take one free greeting card home with you. The art is, with a couple of exceptions, unremarkable. The owner is moving it out and selling it soon. The card factory tour is fun. Interesting to learn about a business that grew from entrepreneurial efforts.

There is a variety of art and sculpture, not by any big name artists, or at least ones I might have recognized. It is a nice place to spend an hour.

We did the tour here which was fairly brisk and interesting to see how this well known family company has kept traditional systems going. The tour guide was knowledgeable and at the end we had plenty of time to spend in the gallery of art and sculptures. A nice 'extra' to be able to choose any card as a gift... More

GO SEE THIS ASAP before the art is sold and museum closed. We LOVED IT! HIDDEN GEM. We were pleasantly surprised at the HIGH quality of art inside and outside museum. It doesn't really matter if you love western art, if you appreciate art, you will likely enjoy this place.

What a fantastic stop! If you have an appreciation of art, this is worth the detour. Free and open to the public until it closes permanently in August 2017. Private collection of sculpture and paintings of the west. Very high quality and well displayed.

We didn't know what to expect since this museum is a part of the greeting card company by the same name. We were surprised and pleased by the quality of the exhibits and artwork. The sculpture garden is amazing, with dozens of bronze (and other materials) sculpture on a winding walkway. The collections in the museum are beautiful, with many... More

If it is true that the museum is closing in August 2017, this is a real shame. The museum is incredibly rich with outdoor sculpture and indoor art of every kind. The art is of an extremely high quality, indoors and out; in many cases it is truly breathtaking.

I am very sad that this Boulder gem is closing in August. The collection of painting and sculptures is very impressive. If you love the West and Western art, don't miss it. The gift shop also has unique items and the cards are Leanin' Tree's bread and butter. The gift shop will remain opened. The museum will close in August... More

It was just announced that this museum will be closing permanently in August of 2017. This is your last chance to see this highly rated attraction in Boulder. The owner is closing the museum and selling off all of his art.
