Situated in the heart of an energetic city is beautiful, historic Downtown Boulder. At the heart of Downtown Boulder is the Pearl Street Mall, a wonderfully charismatic four-block-long pedestrian mall that celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2007. Colorful, bright flowers fill the mall almost the entire year and street performers, with a multitude of talents, make the Pearl Street Mall one of the best people-watching destinations anywhere.

There are many small shops to visit, each offering its own specialty area of interest that makes the Pearl Street Mall a unique place to visit. You can find just about anything that you can imagine along the mall. It also includes good restaurants, clothing shops, art shops, and so much more. I really enjoy shopping for high end kites... Being outside in Boulder is fabulous, so why not an outdoor pedestrian mall? The shops were not all ones that I would see in my local mall in Texas. (Denver's outdoor pedestrian mall seemed a repeat of pretty basic stores from home.) There is a good mix of quality restaurants, ice cream, tea, clothing and my favorite Pedestrian Shoes. A... More

This is THE tourist destination for people wanting an urban experience in Boulder. Thus, it's always crowded on the weekends. I lived in Boulder for 2 years and avoided this place. The shops are niche and boutique style. You can get interesting things, but be ready to pay for the prices associated with organic, free range, hand crafted goods.

While mostly boutique shops, enjoyable to see different things with friendly workers. The mall itself is well-maintained, offers entertainment and great restaurants.

What an experience! Was fun to see the various performers. Was interesting to see the different shops and restaurants. Was a nice and chilled place to just relax! We only stopped into one or two stores and did not eat anything as we had just eaten before we got there.

Lots of restaurants, lots of shops, lots of walking. That about sums it up. Restaurants range from no frills to expensive. A few breweries, coffee and ice cream shops, and breakfast places rounds it out. Boutique stores dot the streets. Check out happy hours.

Love the performers on Pearl Street mall, the concert series on Wednesday nights in the summer. Also go to the Peppercorn kitchen store for anything you could need or want for cooking and entertaining!

Wish we could have spent more time here. Loved the atmosphere....shops, musicians, the way it was decorated.
