Eldorado Canyon State Park is a gem not far from Boulder. You drive through an arty village established in the 1800's with road quality not improved since...speed limit 15 mph, but go 5 mph in a normal car. Once past that if you are lucky...More

Beautiful way to spend an unexpected snow day in May. Only passed one other couple on the Fowler trail. Quiet and peaceful.

Not to mention the Eldorado Springs pool - but it's cold spring water so only on a HOT day. The depth of the canyon is a popular climbing phenom.

The drive in to the park from Boulder is easy and the little "town" of Eldorado Springs reminded my kids of Radiator Springs from the movie Cars. The views from the moment you get out of the car are breathtaking. I tried to capture them...More

Beautiful State Park with nice trails, great creek with falls, and lots of rock walls. Common place for mountain rock climbing, so path makes it easy to watch them climb. Staff was friendly and helpful. Path by Visitor's Center really pretty, too.

It is 8 dollars to enter the park. We tried many times to park our car somewhere before the park entrance but there are really no other options.
