My nine year old son and I went out for an overnight backpacking trip in the Rockies with this group, using a guide named Dave Walsh. He was utterly fantastic. Kind, helpful, extremely knowledgeable, gracious, and a blast to be with. He took customized the trip to our level of physical ability, and was a great help with my son,... More

My wife contacted Tom, with Colorado Wilderness Rides and Guides, to organize a backpacking trip for me as a gift. I found out about this present a few months ago and was very excited. It was a 3 day trip through RMNP to Thunder Lake and up to Mt Alice with lots of fly fishing. I had most of my... More

We signed up for 3 day hike through Rocky Mountain National Park that crosses the continental divide. It was certainly more challenging than we anticipated and worth every moment! Our Guide Cindy Gagnon was amazing! She led us on the adventure of a lifetime. She gave the four of us the confidence to climb steep scree fields and descend rocky... More

I cannot say enough about how great these guys are!! I went to Colorado this past weekend with some girlfriends for a bachelorette party and we decided to spend a day mountain biking. We were paired up with Dave Walsh as our guide, who immediately impressed us with the fact that he didn't bat an eyelash when he met us... More

We opted for a 4-hour mountain bike trip out in Boulder as part of a bachlorette trip to Colorado. We ended up doing a 13 mile trip that was the perfect mix of difficulty and exertion for our group of varying levels of experience. We were thoroughly exhausted but had an amazing time and got to see some unbelievable scenery... More

I had a wonderful experience with Colorado Wilderness Rides and Guides, when I visited Boulder in July 2016. Since my friend could not accompany me for hiking, I asked for a guide for the half-day hike. I called them only a day before, but they were very friendly and professional. They said, "No problem! We'll find you a guide to... More

When our sales team returned from their Denver trip, everyone who went on the Flat Iron Trail hike said they loved it. There were two choices, one for more advanced hikers. The guides were great and made the trip to the trail fun and informative. Next time, we'll give the whitewater rafting a try!

Thank you David! We will be back soon!!

I was traveling to the area for business and had a few days to myself. I contacted Colorado Wilderness Rides and Guides and they organized a horseback riding excursion as well as a full day hike in the Rocky Mountain National Park for me. My experience was beyond fantastic! I highly recommend this company. The horseback riding adventure was led... More
