If you're in Boulder for a few days, make sure to take a walk around campus and feel the charming atmosphere of student life here. The architecture is gorgeous and you have a fantastic view of the mountains from almost all areas. Old Main is particularly recommended and there is a decent selection of restaurants on campus open to all.... More

Lovely campus with picturesque views of trees, mountains, rivers, bridges, and beautiful architecture. The Student Recreation Center was a highlight. Everything from ice skating to climbing walls to basketball courts with floor to ceiling windows. Wow! Makes me want to enroll.

Our son recently toured the beautiful campus at the University of Colorado at Boulder as a prospective student. If you believe in God and conservative values, avoid this school at all cost. During the tour, a flyer was posted on one of the college dorm halls advertising a "queer sex" seminar with dates and times posted for students to attend.... More

I was here for a month as a visiting scholar. The campus is huge and very attractive. I swam regularly in one of the three pools in the Rec Center. It cost me $7 each time I swam, which is not cheap, but it was very nice. Hardly anyone else in the pool, and lap swim is all day. We... More

I had no real expectations for the UC Boulder campus - so I was blown away by the consistently high quality of the architecture. A generous helping of both old and new, woven together seamlessly. I am an architect, and don't easily gush, but this campus was a real joy - get out of the car and walk around!

Natural History and Art Museums. Lots of music programs especially in the fall through spring. Symphony plays in Macky Hall. Shakespeare festival in outdoor Mary Rippon Theater is a big draw in the summer. Not to be missed.

A walking tour of the U of Colorado campus is a must when in Boulder. The architect is magnificent and the layout of the campus is impressive. There is a lot of green space. Stop by the old field house.

Probably the best institution of higher learning in the state (possible exception is the Air Force Academy). The centerpiece of Boulder and one of the centers of culture and art. Scientific endeavors are big here, as well. TED talks are held here, NOAA and the US Aerospace industry rely on "CU Boulder" for constant intellectual support. And the CU Medical... More

This campus is extraordinarily beautiful! The new architecture is designed to fit with the old, and it is a wonderful place to visit and walk.
