Avery has always been in the top five for beers, but these are not for the light hearted, some pack 18% alcohol and you can try them all. Amazing tastes nonetheless and there is something for everyone they even make a few IPAs. The new brewery is much bigger than their last one so the food has to be good,... More

Stopped in, tried the Charizard (get it, it's a pokemon) which definitely had a strong smoky taste. The coconut porter, awesome, and smooth. And Uncle Jacob, well, it was great, strong, knock your socks off. But a little pricey. 9 bucks for a 4 ounce Uncle Jake. But I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

We were encouraged to bring our beer glasses with us on the tour. We ambled along the catwalk high above the brewing vats while a member of the Avery team explained their process, history & approach to our group. Funny, witty & open to questions, the tour guide explained all the mysteries of beer-making.

From the food to the beers, Avery consistently delivers. I have made the drive from the Aurora area three times now and it is worth the drive! The beers are top notch, plus they have beers served only at the brewery. We went on the self-guided tour which was awesome to see the inner-workings of the brewery. This is my... More

Our group of about 15-20 visitors had an energetic tour guide who had a very good understanding himself of the brewing process and its technical aspects. He communicated well to a wide range of tourists and home brewers alike, some of whom had to learn the diffrence between lagers and ales, and others who asked questions about bittering hops and... We had a great trip to Avery. we enjoyed a nice meal and a few beers. The guided to tour was great! Hannah taught us a lot about the different beers, the brewing process and different ways to taste the beers. Can't wait to go back!

Jocelyn was a pro. Told us so much great information on the brewery's history and there current processes. I haven't had this much fun on a tour in a long time. Highly recommend.

The tour lasts approximately an hour and covers the facilities, brew process & Avery history. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. You get a free tasting of some special project or seasonal blend at the end. Not a lot of free tasting included if you're used to others that offer a few more sample. The restaurant at the brewery is... More

Family friendly, avant-garde brews, antibiotic free meats and farm to table cuisine. All at reasonable prices. This made our family of 5 really happy. We're only here for a week (visiting from Chicago) and will drag the locals we know here one more time to enjoy it! The service was excellent, and the drive to get there was so easy... More

for a short walking tour it is full of information on the processing of beer ! our tour guide answered all the questions with knowledge and enthusiasm--but be prepared for the loud machines - great activity for couples and friends !!
