Has something to please everyone - beginners to experienced, and good connections to other peaks. Less busy lines than peak 8 and best peak for kids and beginners, but avoid Saturdays and public holidays if you can

Second time skiing in Colorado and as level 1 (mostly green, some blue) Peak 9 was a great confidence booster with some wide open trails, fast lifts, variety of steeps and easy access to other Peaks. Highly recommended as a 'starter' spot for those of...More

Variety of slopes for the whole family! The staff was very polite and always helpful. The bar upstairs was nice and cozy. Would go there in the future when we're not skiing. Outside fire pit was great!

We stayed at Beaver Run at the base of Peak 9. Loved Peak 9. One day we ventured over to Peaks 7 & 8, but Peak 9 was our favorite. Mainly because we had a ski-in/ski-out condo, which just made it so convenient! Cashier was...More

Great place to hang out even if you don't ski. Coffee, food and booze available. The gondola is free so you can ride up and down with nor problem. You can also get off at peak 8. Nice photo opportunities too.

Everything about the Rokies can be seen in one glance from a mountain top. Every time I go I am awed by what God has created.

The Gondola ride from town to base of Peak 7 or 8 is free- there is no direct ride to Peak 9 which of course is more "in town". . There are in town free buses that will take you there from various properties.
