I would rate the actual ride a 5 for the scenery, however 4 for pre-ride instructions. There were 3 small children on our trail ride, and during the pre-ride instructions, no mention was made of wearing helmets. (The children didn't belong to us, but with other adults on the ride). It wasn't until 1 member of my party asked if... More

I got a private ride on a great little Appaloosa with a Texas wrangler named Danny, we were out at 9 am so got first tracks since it snowed! I had not expected the cold so had to wear hubbys long swim trunks under my jeans and got ski toe warmers in my cowboy boots. I would not recommend the... More

I knew I wanted to get a trail ride in while I was visiting Colorado. This was super convenient and an awesome adventure. My wrangler, Kelsey, was terrific. I arrived early and was able to go out solo with the wrangler, making it a personalized experience. Growing up around horses, I am not a novice. It was fun to get... More

Bought a Groupon for 4 and again, had a great time! The wranglers are always very helpful and professional. They've always been friendly, especially my very talkative 7yo. I sometimes feel bad that they're turned around in their saddle for an hour and a half! But they have always been engaging and knowledgeable. The trail ride is always beautiful and... More

If you are looking for your average nose to butt trail ride, this is not the place. My wife and I were sent out with our guide Cassandra, and felt we were riding with a friend rather than a guide. The terrain is exciting with up and down trails through some of the most beautiful forrest you will find. Mountain... More

My husband and I went, got there a little early so they asked if we wanted to go early. We said sure, I kind of wish we would have said no because we went with a very large group then. The leader rider would point stuff out and say things but as the last two rider we heard nothing. Thank... More

The trial ride was OK but over priced for only 1 hr and 15 minutes ride. The guide was friendly and we enjoyed the relaxing ride thought the forest but nothing special about the trip. Not worth the price.

We went on a 1.5 hour trail ride at Breckenridge Stables. Our horses were well taken care of and a joy to ride. The wranglers matched us with just the right horses and were very nice. Our guide was pleasant and helpful, even with a group full of children. We really enjoyed chatting with him. Restrooms are available via porta-potty... More

We choice Breckenridge stables for a family outing and based on the recommendation of our hotel concierge. First of all this is a true ride into the mountains with steep incline and downhill terrain. We were reassured that all horses were used to carrying less experienced riders. We had one guide who was very nice and was at the front... More

Our family of four with kids aged 9 and 11 enjoyed the ride through forests and along mountain streams. The horses were tame and easy to handle. The ride was along sometimes narrow paths with amazing scenery. There was quite a bit of climb and then descent on the way back. Although the ride was "nose to tail" it was... More
