We absolutely love Carter park! It's always a must when we visit Breck. Sledding down the hill is tons of fun and most resorts have free sleds available for use. Definite go to for both young and young at heart :0)

Nice community sledding hill close to town. Need to buy your sleds at City Market, (not cheap - $13 per sled).

My kids love going here almost more than skiing. I only wish that people at the bottom would pay attention more. Even adults just go down and don't pay attention of getting out of the way.

Our family had sooo much fun here!! It was free and it wasn't as overcrowded as I thought it might be. It is a workout but we all need a little exercise. We also enjoyed watching the big dogs play in the park next door.

There are many ski areas that are a lot cheaper than Breckenridge but because of the sledding hill in Carter Park we decided to come back again and again. My twins have been enjoying sledding at Carter Park since they were 3. The slopes are...More

I have three girls 4 and under, we brought some sleds from home while staying in a condo at Breckenridge. Signs lead us straight to Carter Park without a GPS, easy parking (although around 10am it gets really FULL because this is a popular place!)...More
