Our first trip to Breckenridge in the fall did not disappoint. Locals we played with told me this was built as a private course & after downturn the city bought it & operates it now. They have three nines of Nicklaus-designed golf holes. We played the Bear (mostly down in the valley floor) and Elk (far more elevation change &... More

Beautiful course but not easy! The fairways and greens were in great condition but the "rough is actually scrub brush that lies the fairways. If your ball goes into it, forget trying to find it. Just get out another ball!

Really enjoyed playing 27 holes at this course. The staff was courteous and very helpful, course condition in early September was excellent. Wonderful views of the surrounding mountains and valley floor. Paid full price for one round which was worth the cost, paid Twilight for one round of 9 was a superb deal. Howling coyotes up the valley during the... More

This Jack Nicklaus designed 27-hole public course sits beautifully at 9,324’ above sea level. Breckenridge is a charming Victorian town most known for skiing but has increasingly become a popular destination for that perfect summer or fall get away. What better way to enjoy the beauty of the Colorado Rockies than to play 18 or 27 holes on a great... More

This years selection of the Canteen restaurant running the food and beverage service was a horrible choice. In previous years, there was a beverage cart for each set of nine holes. This year there are two carts servicing 3 sets of nine holes. Seeing the beverage cart once while playing nine holes is terrible service. When I tried calling the... More

27 holes of Jack Nicklaus design. This is a beautiful golf course that plays at high elevations with great views. It is always in excellent shape and the three nines are all different and interesting to play. I have played fine golf courses all over the US and this ranks up with any of them. If you are in the... Friendly family game of golf with my husband and two sons (21 and 19) at a great course, 2 different times. The views are amazing! Well maintained but very challenging, it can get the best of you. Recommend the Elk course, it's the easiest (but not easy) and the best views. Go for twilight, it's cheaper (but not cheap $80).... More

Played this track again yesterday and once again had a totally enjoyable time. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the practice area is very good, and the course itself is a primo mountain track that is kept in very good shape, especially given the amount of play it gets. I put this on my "must play" list every time I'm... More

The views were amazing. The course was truly a challenge to test of your skills. This course had junior golf tees that were well marked. The pro shop staff were excellent and extremely nice. The bar tender obviously didnt like his job. The "players assistants" hurried our foursome play along through the last 4 holes of the Beaver course. At... More
