Been going to Breck for 30 years. Pretty much no better place to ski. Snow was not so good in December this year, but last year it was almost 100% open.

The resort is beautiful. The skiing was great and the bars and restaurants were really good too. The thin air is no joke!

Certainly no ones fault there was no base. Snow making had made it possible to open a few runs. But if fewer than half the lifts were running and only 15% of the runs are open, charging full price, $135.00 a day, is just plain...More

We love to ski at Breckenridge. The options are always endless, and they keep the place groomed very nice. One of the best ski resorts on the planet, especially after a powder day.

When the sun shines and powder is fresh it is hard to beat Breck. And when the clouds are over and the snow is dumping it is still a great place. Have been to almost all the resorts in the area. Each has one or...More

The good is that there's lots of terrain and it's only an hour and a half from Denver. The bad is that it can get crowded, I-70 can be tiresome and the food on the mountain could be better. Get a season pass or it's...More

We had a great time, despite only about 1/4 of the mountain being open. Friendly staff, great lodges (we loved Robbie's for Bloody Mary's and drummies), and beautiful town and surroundings. Maybe I can give it 5 stars after visiting during peak season. We have...More

Good trails, we went at the beginning of December so only 13 trails were open. It's $137 for a day pass( by the time you rent equipment your day per person is $175) So a family of four with teens is 700 for one day...More

Breckenridge is a classic ski town and resort. An easy drive from Denver International Airport. We rented a condo from VRBO for the weekend and stayed a short walk from the lifts. The condo was also a short walk to Main Street. Given that it’s...More

Breckenridge is the only place we ski. Between the wide variety of runs for all skill levels and the idyllic mountain downtown all decorated with lights for Christmas, this place is everything you would ever want.

If you have the flexibility, I'd book lodging near a number of ski areas. That way you have options depending on conditions. Staying a The Bivvi in Breckendridge would be a good option - easy access to Breck, Keystone, and... More

The town itself is really cool. There are a lot of neat places but not necessarily a must do spot. If there’s enough snow, there is a snow tube park about 10 minutes away which is really good for young kids.
