Father & Son extended weekend trip

Great value resort: lots of blue runs and short ski lines for the money. Glad we went for a quick 4-day weekend trip. Very memorable.

I was there with a friend on President's day weekend. It was really busy. Strange enough, the slopes are free, but the lines to the ski lifts are long. We took a private guide which is an expensive way to avoid the lines. The snow was excellent. A nice variety of slopes. Beautiful scenery.

Breckenridge is a nice town and a nice hill with a lot of acreage. If you are a beginner, cruisey blue or intermediate skier you will love it here. I felt that the advanced level skiing was a little lacking with the blacks being quite short. Imperial chair gives access to some open terrain that is more challenging, as does... More

Large ski resort with tons of options for young or old. There is so many options you won't need to make the same run twice. The 4 o'clock run was a perfect straight shot to our hotel. I'd recommend staying at the bottom of that run.

The best part of Breckenridge is its varied terrain and the fact that they always groom all the green runs, most of the blue runs, and even a good number of easier black runs. I would suggest carrying your own food for lunch unless you want to spend at least $20 per person for an entree and drink.

There are literally thousands of reviews on this site. I have been to Breckenridge three times. I'm writing this review from the view point of what I would have liked to know before I visited the first time. I genuinely enjoy this ski resort. I think it is a perfect balance of hard, medium and easy slopes. There are significant... More

My family, ranging from a 2 year old - 55 years old, loved everything about Breckenridge. There was skiiing for every age including my 2 year old granddaughter.

We've been going to Breck once a year for almost 15 years in a row. We had the chance to ski in other resorts in Europe and also in the US, but this is by far the most attractive and fun place to go. Good for begginers, and peak 7 has a bunch of excellent blue slopes.

Breckenridge, being from the UK, has some real charm associated with it. The village looks like a real western town with lovely clapboard shops and houses with lots of different colours. With some snow on the ground, it is a charming town to spend time in. The ski resort is served well by free bus routes giving access to the... More
