This is a hangout spot for the locals, Sometimes it can be a quiet spot to watch the sun come up over the prairie. Many people will just drive on through.

Skyline drive is a one way road which follows a ridge overlooking the town. When you near the top, there is a large pull off spot. Park there and walk back down the road and view the dinosaur tracks. It was one of our young...More

3-mile, one way road at the tippity top of a mountain ridge with Dinosaur footprint impression along the way. Fun to experience, even for someone who has a fear of heights.

Not quite what I expected but it was cool for a quick scenic drive (20-30 minutes). Parts of it overlook the city. A couple of spots of the road were a bit nerve racking but overall not too bad of a drive.

The drive took us less than 20 minutes from start to finish. It was a bit scary but it is so worth it for the views! It is a one way road that basically has cliffs on either side so once you commit, there is...More

This is a very fun short drive with great views. Highly recommend it. We missed seeing the dinosaur footprints, so keep your eyes open.

On our way back from White Water Rafting in Canon City we took Skyline drive as a different way back to the main highway to Colorado Springs. It was a 10 minute detour but we'll worth it. A narrow one way road took us up...More

This short loop overlooks Canon City with breathtaking views. One person in our group was terrified of heights, but the rest of us enjoyed the view.

A Sudan will be okay. The road, although very narrow, is paved.

If there is bad weather you will not want to be on this road. It is truly a trip across the razor edge of the top. No stops on either side of the one way road.

This review is about Skyline Drive in Canon City, Colorado, not South Carolina. The former is about 3mi long. No clue about SC's.
