My husband and I are hot springs junkies and have tried many around the state and beyond. We were curious about these since they're totally natural and available without any entrance fees etc. We went after dinner one night to enjoy the stars while we...More

Nice hot springs with a slight sulfur smell. The bighorn sheep and elk are right across the Crystal River. Can get busy at times. Nudity at times

Always a fun time. Sometimes the mountain goats are around. The river is down right now allowing for larger pools. Always fun meeting interesting people.

I have been there a few times, with my husband and my mother. There're a few steps down an easy but rocky trail, so short that you can see from where you park. Two small pools built with rocks, that cater to several people each....More

I have lived the Penny Hot Springs for many years. It is a true taste of local life. Nestled in the mountains, next to the Crystal River, the views are breathtaking. This is right off the road and easy to get to, perfect for visitors...More

We had a great time at this hot spring. You have to climb down to the water, so not good for anyone who is not completely able bodied. Met some really interesting people. This spot is clothing optional, so keep that in mind if you...More

This Colorado, I have had it snow 6 ft on the last day of April, wearing shorts working on my tan and every other variable.
What transport is available from the village ??

You have to have your own transportation.
Is this available in February, during peak season? Can we make reservations, or do we just need to arrive early? Are children under 10 allowed? We would love to experience hot springs, but have limited time in Snowmass and a large mix of adults, teens and kids. Thanks so much.
