We had a spring snow so it was a perfect time to try out a new camera. The best time to take pics from the Visitors Center is the morning. Even at 10:00, the lighting was good. The large viewing area permits lots of visitors. This is the first time we had visited the Visitors Center since the remodel. Both... More

We moved here 4 years ago and naturally checked out this place. Beautiful and sort of out of this world. Love the full moon drumming pls they do here some times in the evenings. Just too many people for my taste. I'd rather go hiking on pikes peak for more privacy.

We did a quick drive though while in the area. I would love to come back with my bike and it to run through the park. It is amazing !

We went her in the Fall of 2016. I had no idea how majestic this location was. It was totally breathtaking. Just to sit and take it all in. Definitely a must see if you are in the Denver area.

Park is free easy to find. Lots of people though. You drive through on a one way loop with areas to pull off and park so you can access trails. We enjoyed taking a jeep tour.

The GOG is one of the premier tourist locations in the entire country for several reasons. One is that it was given to the people with one condition. There will never be an entrance fee. It is open to the public to enjoy... and if you are nearby you should. The visitor center is fun, also free, and full of... More

A true must see if you are anywhere near Colorado Springs. It's not a huge park so even if you only have an hour or so this will be a great memorable stroll.
