Entrance is required through zoo purchase. You drive through the zoo and is a short way up to the top. Upon parked, be prepared to climb to the shrine. Well worth the trip, for the 180 degree views of Colorado Springs.

You will have to purchase a ticket to the Zoo to get to this one. It is part of the Zoo complex now. It is an interesting tribute to one of America's most famous humorists.

Why not go it is free with your admission to the zoo. I would highly recommend this to all travelers.
