The family needed a bit of exercise, so we visited Colorado College near downtown Colorado Springs for a self guided walking tour with dog on-leash Enjoyable and full of history - very well maintained sidewalks and paths, and so, so much history to investigate. Be sure to check out the awesome Shove Memorial Chapel, then make a break for the... More

A small liberal arts college located near the heart of the city, with a beautiful, compact campus. Has the feel of being quaint and progressive at the same time.

We took a guided tour during the summer before students were back. Not sure if a tour during the school year allows you to see more stuff. The older part of the campus has interesting buildings and great setting with views of Pike's Peak. Would have liked to go into some of the older buildings/dorms to see inside. The tour... More

The campus is quite small compared to other american colleges, but it's super organised and clean. It offers one of the best view ever: Pikes Peak! The campus is located 5 minutes walk from downtown and all the diners and cafes and just a short drive from Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods... The library is modern and really efficent,... More

Colorado College has a little over 2,000 students. The campus is beautiful with great trees and interesting architecture. The local NPR radio station is just off campus and along with various websites will give you an idea of events. The Women's Film Festival is held every fall here and with the adjacent Fine Art's Center. We have heard wonderful guest... More

What's not to like about one of the oldest colleges in Colorado? A glance at CC's ratings will tell even a casual viewer that students educated here receive a solid education. But be forewarned: the college is liberal in more ways than one. There's plenty to like in the area of diversity and leftwing politics, not so much when it... More

The Colorado College campus is the perfect place for a walk. It has numerous places and areas to walk around that are paved and fully accessible. Not only are the walkways great for all levels of ability, the campus is stunningly beautiful. As an alum of a small liberal arts college back east I sometimes forget that these gems exist... More

If you live in the Spring like I do, you know the town could not be as amazing without this great campus. The college vibe permeates downtown and I so appreciate the youth, diversity, academia and general expansive-cool energy the campus lends the town. Been to many functions in the Cornerstone Theater and at Armstrong Hall. Amazing spaces for private... More

Colorado College is well known as one of the best institutions of higher learning in the USA. Location in close proximity to down-town Colorado Springs, the campus is a blend of old and new and affords the visitor a glimpse of what this college has to offer. A nice visit if you're in the area but busy during school hours.
