This is a nice little museum for a small town in Northwest Colorado. There is quite a bit of cowboy memorabilia if you are interested in that kind of thing. They also had a nice display of pictures of Moffat County from 100 years ago ago coupled with pictures from today from the same perspective.

Museum staff is helpful and friendly. Exhibits are interesting and well displayed. Small gift shop of books pertaining to western part of Co. Was given a good suggestion for additional reading by staff and enjoyed the book very much. Worth the stop if your travels take you through this part of the country.

Went because so many reviewers said it was great. They're right! From the welcoming greeting when you walk in and the immediate overall description it draws you in to have a good look around. Many different displays from the Cowboy collection upstairs snd the walk thru time in photos to the Native American artifacts, fossils, two bucks locked in combat,... More

This museum is well designed. The owners take great pride in the museum and it shows! The exhibits are informative, interesting and artistically designed. Even though some of the exhibits are about the local community, we still the exhibits interesting. If you are passing through and need a great place to walk around for awhile....visit this gem!

The staff from the Chamber does the railroad car tour as requested. This is an excellent activity that I highly recommend. The car is beautiful and the chamber staff give a great talk about the history of the car and of the area.

This is an excellent local museum with exhibits that contain interesting facts along with the photos, guns and all of the western gear. There were some chaps that belonged to Ann Bassett, the Queen of the Rustlers and may have been Etta Place, the girlfriend of both Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. This is a local GEM.

It's a cool museum. Three levels with different emphasis on each; gun fighters and Cowboys, the high school, and the settlement/expansion of Moffat county. It also has a hidden Mickey.

Great western gear, guns, photos, history about the Moffat area of Colorado. Its free, and you can see most everything in about an hour or so. Staff really helpful and knowledgeable.
