The people at Crested Butte Mountain Resort are the most friendly people you'll ever meet. The resort is a bit non user friendly but the atmosphere of the beautiful people and mountains over shadowed that.

This low key friendly mountain resort is worth every minute we sat in the car driving to the mountain. Employees are friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Definitely not like Summit County resorts. It was a drive but we stayed three days and left talking about when we were coming back. The mountain has something for everyone. We loved Paradise Bowl which... More

Love the mountain. Management isn't so great. Group of us are headed there soon. I bought my tickets ahead of time. Two days later they dropped the price from $310 that I paid, to $129 for three days. I called and rather than honor the new price, they said there are no refunds. And hey, I get the no refunds... We came here for a few days of skiing with another couple. Nice mountain and very very friendly staff. We are mainly blue groomer skiers. There's lots of blue terrain we skied, but it looks like 50% of the mountain is dedicated to Black diamond and extreme skiing. All the blues were well groomed and a lot of the greens... More

Hello Mccardinalphoto, Thank you for your review. You provided some excellent feedback that I will be sure to share with our management team. While the trail map does appear to feature lots of black diamond and extreme runs (we have 542 acres of Extreme Terrain), 57% of the trails are rated as intermediate. If you make it out to Crested... We love to ski here! Great family friendly resort with lots of awesome terrain and beautiful views. Prices are good and low crowds. We go every year for spring break and have always had great snow!

Mt. Crested Butte is a great getaway for the family. We went up for spring break and rented a condo on Mt Crested Butte. We were minutes from the base. No crowd what so ever, so maybe we caught it on a good week. The down side is the weather was too warm and the runs were too slushy.. The... More

Hi Jeffery B, Thank you for taking the time to write a review! Despite the unseasonably warm temperatures that we've seen for much of March, the skiing has been great as you mentioned. We were here during Texas and Oklahoma Schools spring break. Good snow and great runs, but the services just couldn't gear up to handle about triple their normal skier population. They seem to have no limit to how many tickets they are willing to sell; lift tickets or kids' Adventure Park tickets. Long line and slow food service -- e.g.,... More

Something for everyone from extreme skiing, to cruisers, to beginners. Trails are well marked and clustered by level . Even on spring Break the lift lines were not too bad. Nice and helpful staff. Great ski trip!
