Whilst visiting Denver, we came across this park and spent the day here. They have paddle boats for rent, you can jog, walk, board the lanes around the lake, or find a nice piece of grass to sit and watch people. We loved this park,...More

The gardens were pretty, the boat house and lake lovely; the park well-used by community members (but not worn out)...a very popular place, surrounded by city streets, nice older homes....seems a great benefit to those who live nearby.

If you are hankering for some activity or natural beauty then come to this park. Just 13 minutes from the LODO (lower downtown) section of the city, Washington Park offers something for most everyone. For us, we ended up walking half of the park, and...More

The park is wonderful with a lake and numerous walking paths. Highly recommend also taking a walk in nearby neighborhood with beautiful brick homes and stately trees.

We went to Washington Park early one morning and rented a surrey to ride around the park. There were 5 of us (teens/adults). It was a tight fit and the surrey was challenging to pedal, but it was fun.

We wandered around the Washington Park area after the Botanical gardens and came across the park. It was nice to take a stroll through it. There were a ton of trees to walk in the shade, a huge walking and wheeled track, and tennis courts/basketball...More

A very nice park to spend some time in. Either bicycle around the park or walk. Stop by one of the 2 small lakes and relax for a bit.

Other than a couple of good restaurants, a lot of funky old mission-style houses, and a big open area park, this could be much better. Was disappointed because had hoped it would be more. And in the winter, it is boring as all. Would not...More

Wash Park has 2 lakes to walk around and lots of ducks and geese and is in better neighborhood than city park. Paddleboats on north lake. No swimming water not clean. Yes Water World is a different place and a great waterpark

You are correct and I was referring to the small paddle boats. I love Wash Park and live not far on Lincoln. I often walk the park as its a great place to get some exercise.
