We drove through Denver on the way to another destination so stopped in again to see what changes were made to the exhibits. They had a big exhibit of low riders that was there at this time. We stayed for about an hour this time....More

This museum was much more than we expected. It has everything from huge train locomotives to many very interesting antique cars, bicycles, airplanes, children's riding toys, motorcycles and period clothing. Well worth the modest price of admission and the several hours it will take to...More

Being a petrol head we paid a visit whilst in town. Loads of redevelopment outside but thankfully business as usual. A quiet place, possibly due to the building work. Nice eclectic collection of cars bikes and trains! I thoroughly enjoyed it and correctly identified the...More

The rotating exhibit when we were there was lowrider cars. Really beautiful. We love the big locomotive. Don't forget to watch the fascinating video of how they got that huge machine across town to its new home. Maybe the most interesting thing at the museum.

Relocated several years ago, the new location is a little harder to find but well worth the effort to get there! Huge collection of motorcycles, cars - some very unique, steam locomotives and rail cars. Interesting for visitors of any age.

Obviously a labor of love, this place is a jaw-dropping collection of items transport related. Not just from the extent of items but also that a lot of items are restored by volunteers and the mint condition of unrestored items.
