Great decision to stop and tour the park. Learned much about the area and the landscape that make up Colorado.

We underestimated how challenging the hike would be. It's definitely a work out. The views were amazing and I was fascinated by the geology of it all.

We did a day trip of these three while staying in Denver and had such fun! Hiking at Red Rocks, lunch with wine overlooking the river in Evergreen then back through Golden. Do it!

The Denver Mountain parks include a variety of locations, though all within the mountains. I never let visitors to Colorado go without seeing Red Rocks Amphitheater. In addtiion to its one of a kind setting, it has fabulous views of the city of Denver.
