Arrived late in the day and still had time to see many blossoms and displays. Indoors includes some tree frogs and orchids, outdoors there are gardens and pathways that meander about the property. Was able to recline on a grassy hill and watch the clouds begin to take on a sunset tint. Money and afternoon well spent. Good parking, bring... More

Great display of beautiful flowers and LED lights. Make sure to buy the glasses to get the full effect. Staff is helpful and upbeat.

Our adult son, who lives in Denver, suggested this on our off day from a ski vacation. The tropical room, not just from the architectural design, but the enormous number of flowering plants was delightful. I couldn't stop taking photos. The outside gardens, even in winter were fun. There was a glass installation by Chihuly as well.

We went to see the famous light decoration during Christmas. It was so beautiful. The ticket was $15 per person but was absolutely worth. All the plants and trees were decorated with different coloured lights. The hole garden looked paradise.

Actually tucked into a more residential neighborhood, walking through the gardens really transports you to another world. The current orchid show is stunning, but everything from summer art exhibits in the gardens, to their concert series, to classes in botanical illustration is wonderful. Different seasons definitely bring different experiences, and in winter you don't really need more than an hour.... More

Spent Christmas in Denver! Went to the Botanical Gardens on Christmas night. So amazingly beautiful!! The walk was easy, fun and just long enough! I highly recommend visiting at Christmas time. I will do it again the next time I'm in Denver for Christmas. Good job to all that helped decorate and help make the gardens so beautiful for all... More

I recently attended the Denver Botanic Garden's Blossom of Light, an annual production held throughout December. The entire complex is lit up in a brilliant display of lights with plenty of places to stop to get warm and sip a hot cup of cocoa. I highly recommend attending this wonderful, family friendly, event.

Having visited the gardens in November I can honestly say I may have enjoyed the grounds a little more had we visited in the spring/summer. While there are a few "inside" arrangements and greenhouse buildings to walk through, the majority of gardens are outside, naturally. So during our visit most of the plants were going dormant...

We had a couple extra hours in Denver and visited the Gardens. The indoor exhibit was beautiful, warm and moist. Lot of blooming plants and an orchid exhibit. Need to go at night to view the lights.

I spent about half a day here walking around with my husband and father. It was a gorgeous October day, and we loved it! There was so much to see, and every section was beautiful - even during the fall. Prices are great, it is easy to get around and follow signs, and there is an amazing variety of plants,... More
