Total Denver gem. We bought a membership and hang out in the kids river all summer for a great way to get outside and play in the middle of the city. Across the road the gardens are amazing all year long. We have seen great concerts on the lawn, bought plants at their sale, saw the Chihuly installation, the corpse... More

Nothing to boast about.. nothing spectacular and not a must visit. We can live without visiting this place. However if you have nothing else to do, snoop around there.

No matter what time of year, the gardens are an oasis of relaxation. If it's winter and you want warmth you can visit the tropical gardens. It's a great place for families.

Love going to the Botanic gardens! It's nice exercise, with a beautiful view. The flowers and shrubs are lovely in the summertime and there are several choices of places to grab a bite to eat or drink. My favorite is the Japanese tea house. There are flowers to see inside and out. In the winter you must go to garden... More

The Denver Botanical Gardens is a great place to see all sorts of plants and birds and eco systems in action. This is a great place to stroll through and have a nice morning conversation with your best friend. This place feels like nature should feel all the time.

SO the flowers weren't there, but no one could fail to appreciate the orchids, the outside scenery and beautiful paths......families abounded... Nature at its best. I wouldn't say it's the best thing to see inDenver (I liked the Museum of Science and Nature better), but it's a lovely place ..well worth visiting.

This is a relatively compact, well-designed, varied and beautiful botanic garden right in the heart of Denver. It does a brilliant job of showing off Rocky Mountain flora and fauna, at the same time that it offers other beautiful gardens like it's Japanese garden. Fabulous art exhibitions in the gardens each year are not to be missed. Wonderful concerts in... More

We had a wonderful time at the Denver Botanic Gardens, however, we were there in the dead of winter so a vast majority of the plants were dead. I can just imagine how beautiful this place is when it's not so cold outside.
