We brought friends to the Blossoms of Light display on Friday night and were proud of ourselves for recommending it. It's the perfect way to walk off a good dinner -- just the right length and varied displays all along. We especially enjoyed the field of sound-reactive LED lights. You can speak or sing into a microphone or even play... More

Let me be clear; this review is specifically for Christmas time at the Gardens, when they have all the Christmas lights up. The rest of the year, when everything is in bloom, the park is much better. I did not really think the Christmas lights were anything special; sure there are lots of them and all different colors, but it's... More

We have been going to the Botanic Gardens since we moved to Colorado in 1998. We love taking our family and friends to the gardens when they visit us. And there is always something new to see.

I happened to be there when they had a free Festival of the Dead event. The trees were lighted and lots of macabre decorations. They limited access to the main area so couldn't do much exploring. Too bad I couldn't have stayed long and only stayed about an hour. I do like the hothouse area with the waterfalls and so... More

Very nice walk through to see all of the lights on the trees, took just a little over an hour. Path was clearly labeled and all of the lights and displays were easy to see. Most of the garden was in winter hibernation but you could still read read some of the plaques that had names of the trees or... More

Denver's Botanical Gardens is a great location for an afternoon stroll. I enjoy nature and art and therefore spent about three hours here really taking in and appreciating all parts of the park. I really enjoyed the different ecosystems and geographical locations that were represented. It added organization and the ability to visit different trees and species around the world.

Am so glad that we decided to visit the Denver Botanic Gardens! It was a glorious weather day. The color burst of flowers was rampant, even in October. Took some amazing pictures, with the waterfalls and the sun peeking through the trees. I loved the Monet Pool the best~ I took one picture, with just the "perfect shimmer of sunlight"... More

We enjoyed an afternoon visit, unexpectedly, but happy we decided to go. Free parking was a plus in an adjacent underground complex. We visited in the fall so many of the summer flowers were gone, but still a beautiful stroll.

The gardens were beautiful, even in October. They are always redoing the plantings so you could visit often and always see something new. A lot packed into the space.

Don't miss an opportunity to see this compact garden when you're in Denver. We were especially pleased by the natural plantings and the playful mix of glass sculptures by Chilluly.
