I always like to look for a nice place to jog when on a business trip. This was a nice trail not too far from my hotel. I liked that it ran along the river and even crossed it a couple of times. There are...More

From near the Cherry Creek shopping district to where it empties into the South Platte river this path is several miles long and connects to many other paths that will take you all over the metro area and beyond. Great for biking, running, rollerblading, or...More

The Cherry Creek Trail is a terrific asset to the city. It is located conveniently on the west side of downtown. The trail runs for quite a few miles from the confluence with the Platte River south (I'm a visitor so I could have some...More

Great place for a walk and even better for a bike ride. If it's nice out, take the time to do it. Denver is an "out-doorsy" type of town and this is a perfect way to experience that.

A beautiful way to get around Denver. I used the B Cycle bikes to get around and this trail is perfect way to take advantage of those bikes. It can't pretty crowded on the weekend though, so if you're a novice biker - go midday...More

We visited Cherry Creek Trail on our Downtown Denver Segway tour. We shared the trial with joggers, walkers, dogs and bicyclists. There was a wedding during our visit. The trail was interesting with art work, wedding and scenery.

My family (wife, and 3 of my 4 boys) all biked the trail. It is a fun and easy ride. A few small parts where you had to cross roads or bike very close to the road, but mostly on the paved trail along the...More

Fun urban bike-ride. Totally separate from traffic. Not even any cross streets. For much of the path we rode, separate bike and ped paths. Creek isn't they typical urban drainage ditch. This section has obviously been straightened but not with lots of concrete (except for...More

My wife and I walked through long parts of this trail and overall enjoyed it. There is a small section that is under construction though.

The path slopes upwards gradually from north to south, with an elevation gain of several hundred feet over ten miles or so as it climbs out of the Platte River Valley. Riding northwards is an easier trip than going south... More
