Warm and inviting this is a gem of a Catholic Church
Dec 2019
The Church of the Holy Ghost was our pick for our Christmas Mass. It was a short and delightful walk from our stay at the Quincy on Curtis St. The church is a 1940's style ornate church with beautiful wood and marble. The acoustics was very nice and choir was so wonderful for the Christmas songs. All decked out in Christmas greens and poinsettias reds with festive lights and the Nativity made for a beautiful Christmas Mass.
It was a terrific church to celebrate Christmas Mass....

A BEAUTIFUL CHURCH, SPECIAL EASTER SUNDAY MASS!
Apr 2018 • Solo
I was in Denver during Easter of 2014 and decided to come here for Easter Sunday Mass as it was the nearest Catholic Church to my hotel.
The church itself was very beautiful and well maintained. Really felt as though it was God's House!
It was a High Mass and I was quite a special experience.
If I spend any Sundays or Holy Days in Denver in future, I will be sure to return here for worship.

What a beautiful building. The stained glass windows and old pipe organ bring me back to attending mass with my grandparents.

Beautiful early Sunday Mass

Beautiful church convenient to the Hyatt Regency that we were staying at last month. The 7:00 AM mass was quite well attended based on the time. Stunning renovation in work but it must be nearing completion because this church was BEAUTIFUL!

Place of Peace and Serenity for visitors and residents

A beautiful, serene church just blocks from 16th Street Mall and most Hotels. Wonderful, hand carved woodwork throughout the church. Attended two services Memorial Day weekend (Sunday and Monday). Well worth taking time out from a stressful vacation to visit this peaceful place..

Beautiful for evening Sunday service

This church is in walking distance of the downtown / convention center area hotels. I was so delighted by the design of the exterior and interior of this church. There is currently a campaign underway for restoration. I would love to go back after the work is complete, but I can't imagine how much more beautiful it could be.

Beautiful church with a warm and inviting clergy. Father Chris said the Mass. The architecture and wood and marble decor are ornate and tasteful. Even if you don't attend a ceremony, the church is well worth a visit. It does remind you of churches from the early to mid 20th Century with old fashioned confessionals and candles that are lit by flame rather than by electric buttons.

Retains the Architectural Beauty lost in Many Misguided Church Renovations
Jul 2016
I so miss the beautiful classic Catholic church marble cathedral architecture that has been removed and replaced in an effort to "modernize" so many of our churches. I love the marble pillars, woodwork detail, large statues, lighted candles in the adoration chapels, the pulpit, the confessionals, the incredible organ, etc. I would like the church stewards to know that, when I entered the church and saw its beauty and felt a wave of reverence and connection to the symbolism and memories of my early years attending mass some 60 years ago, I felt a connection. It was like coming home. My wife and I really enjoyed Sunday service.

One of the most beautiful churches in Denver
Oct 2015 • Friends
I didn't attend mass, but I did walk in on a Sunday afternoon with a friend for a quick prayer.

I'm not Catholic, but it's a beautiful church where you feel peace in. The architecture is beautiful. I've seen old churches built in the 1600's. This church has that 'old' beauty to it, mixed with modern architecture.

I couldn't help but look around and marvel at how beautiful the church itself is.

This is in the heart of downtown, I'm sure it sees it's mix of visitors; religious and non religious alike.

Whatever you believe, it's worth checking out if you're downtown.

Nice and quick view

Very nice windows. Small and does not take a lot of time to view. Wonderful place to take 30 minutes to enjoy the windows and few sculptures.
